Not A Restaurant is the one and only right choice if you’re searching for some a huge piece of great food! It all started in 1969 in Ísafjörður, Iceland, where a group of polish travelers came to the Iceland: Marcin Prusik, Andrzej Haber, Zbigniew Groszkowski and Ryszard Raczkyński. That weird-sounded town was their last destination in their Iceland tour. The beauty of Iceland, made them want to express their feelings. Unanimously all of them decided to open a restaurant in Ísafjörður. The restaurant was so good, that in 1974 they’ve opened another one in Reykjavik, Iceland. Three years later Not A Restaurant hit Europe and appeared in Oslo. Groszkowski’s death in 1979 didn’t stop them and the beginning of 80’s have made them known in whole Scandinavia. Oslo’s tourism statistics massively grew up just because of that one restaurant. Poles didn’t need much time to spread their “feelings” all over Scandinavia, because just in 1981 new locals appeared in: Bergen, Stavanger, Göteborg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Turku and Helsinki. Year by year, new dishes were joining to the old ones in the menu. 1985 was the year when the last of new planned locals in Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France was opened. That was the moment, when the amount of locals was equal 100. After that, the group of Poles decided to take a break for next 5 years. Those 5 years had to be preparing time for their future. Unexpectedly Raczyński have died in a car accident in 1989, which had delayed their plan for another 2 years. Finally in 1992 the “Not A World” project started. The plan was simple in words, but harder to release. Prusik and Haber wanted to spread their locals all over the world just in 10 years, specifically one million restaurants. Nobody expected that the goal would be met within almost 3 years. December 19 of 1994 was the day when the special restaurant called “Not A Million” was opened in Jakarta, Indonesia. The business was growing up constantly, the company was so recognizable, that in 1998 a company named Google.inc copied Not A Company’s logo. It seemed like nothing could stop them, but Haber’s death in WTC attack in 2001 led to the “big crisis” of the “Not A restaurant” chain, which lasted until 2003. Prusik wasn’t able to handle the responsibility, so he decided to sell business for 400 Billion USD. Sebastian Prusik became the new owner. His wisdom and businessman’s brain led him to the great idea. The website idea. The website, which could allow to order meals via internet. The website turned out to be another huge success, which is the main reason why it looks like a piece of shit in 2019. It hasn’t been changed since 2003, so the customers didn’t feel confused. I am Sebastian Prusik and nowadays Not A Restaurant is an absolute giant restaurant chain known well in the whole world by its amazing dishes and ridiculous ideas like not changing the website desing.
